Some providers include diagnosis in the repair price if you go ahead. Others charge a visit or inspection fee either way. Neither approach is wrong, but you should know which one applies before anyone arrives. Ask:
- Is there a visit or inspection charge? - Is it deducted if I approve the repair? - Will you confirm the full cost before starting work?
What drives the price of an AC repair
